Wafer Processing
We offer proprietary permanent magnet and electromagnet technology for the processing of disk drive recording heads, MR, GMR, TJ and M-RAM devices. Our magnetic assemblies can be designed to operate under a variety of conditions and environments for the precision alignment of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic materials. They are also designed to offer high field uniformity and minimal dispersion angles. Metrology and Production Testing
For years, we've been designing and delivering both permanent magnets and electromagnets for material analysis and production testing. We have designed both static and alternating field magnets. Magnets can be optimized for high field operation. We can provide dipole or "quadrapole" magnets (dual axis, independently driven). Both axes can be driven simultaneously to create fields at any angle. This capability allows pinning direction measurements on GMR films and devices. Dual axis capability also allows a DC easy field to be applied while the hard axis field is swept. The magnets can be provided with special ESD coatings and plastics.

Media
We design and deliver both permanent and electromagnets for magnetic and magneto-optical media processing. We have experience designing both static and alternating field magnets. Magnets can be optimized for high field operation. We can provide high gradient dipole magnets for media alignment on disks or tapes.
