The EraseTrack™ Bulk Eraser U5000 is a bulk degausser for magnetic media equipped with a conveyor belt. It is an enclosed permanent magnet degausser that is a continous duty conveyor belt unit that provides one pass erasure for hard disk drives. The system is designed to degauss current 3.5 in (88.9 mm) and 2.5 in(63.5 mm)longitudinal and perpendicular hard drives up to 1.0 in (25.4 mm) height.

NSA Approved
The U5000 degausser is listed on the National Security Agency's (NSA) Degausser Evaluated Products List (DEPL) dated December 4, 2007. The U5000 was found to satisfy the requirements for erasure of magnetic storage devices that retain sensitive or classified data. A commercial production unit of the U5000 degausser was evaluated agains NSA/Central Security Service (CSS) requirements for erasure of sensitive of classified magnetic storage devices.
