COVID-19 Update

March 23, 2020

The health and safety of our employees, customers, and stakeholders is extremely important to us at Dexter Magnetic Technologies. We are following the guidelines provided by the WHO, CDC, and our state and local authorities to provide the safest possible environment for all.

As of today, the manufacturing, shipping and receiving activities at Dexter are operating to full capacity. We do not expect this pandemic to affect our operations or our ability to service our customers.  We continue to monitor our supply base for impact to their businesses and will communicate any delays to the affected parties, if and when that should occur.

On Monday March 16th, we began executing the following measures to ensure the wellbeing of our employees and to keep the finished products shipping to our valued customers:

  1. Visitors will not be permitted to enter our facilities.  Please reach out to your Dexter point of contact for more details and options on how a remote or virtual meeting may be facilitated.
  2. We have begun segmentation of our business by way of requiring most of our office employees to work remote to reduce the risk to our manufacturing and operations employees. Our employees who are working remotely have received training and are equipped to perform their functions at full capacity and functionality.

These above listed requirements are in addition to our initial protective measures that will be in place through April 8th. Though we are sincerely optimistic that we will be able to remove these requirements at that time, we are fully prepared to ensure continuity of supply if additional time is required.  We believe that the measures that we have implemented significantly reduce the risks to the health and safety of our employees, partners, and community. We will continue monitoring developments and will take appropriate action when necessary.

We appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities and governments around the world who are on the front lines working to contain this virus. We are confident that we are taking appropriate steps to keep our work environment, our partners and our employees safe. Again, we will continue to monitor this situation closely and we will provide updates as they become available. Stay healthy and safe.
