Thermistors

thermistors_lowres
A thermistor is a type of resistor that differs from standard resistors in that its resistance varies significantly with temperature. Common uses of thermistors are temperature sensors, self-resetting overcurrent protectors and self-regulating heating elements.

Material that is typically used in thermistors is either a ceramic or polymer. Material allows for thermistors to typically achieve a higher precision within a limited temperature range, typically −90 °C to 130 °C.

We have a large selection of thermistors available for purchase in our online store.
